Sasaeng Fan Spreads V BTS's Personal Data on YouTube, ARMY Doesn't Stay Silent

Kapanlagi.com - On March 18, 2020, a sasaeng fan spread personal data of V BTS through a video uploaded on YouTube. The personal data that was spread includes photos and identification numbers, as well as the passport number of the BTS member.

Because the spread data was written in Chinese, it is suspected that this sasaeng fan is from that bamboo curtain country. The excessive actions of this hardcore fan have angered ARMY.

ARMY, the term for BTS fans, believe that spreading an idol's personal data is an irresponsible act. Besides making the idol uncomfortable, such actions are also detrimental because they can be misused.

As reported by Kstarlive, the ARMY did not stay silent and collectively reported the video of V's personal data uploaded by that sasaeng fan. Currently, the related video has been deleted by YouTube.

V is not the only K-Pop idol who has been a victim of sasaeng fans. Previously, the personal data of Chanyeol and Sehun EXO, Nayeon and Chaeyoung TWICE, as well as the members of NCT, have been spread by sasaeng fans.

Not only spreading personal data, sasaeng fans sometimes engage in extreme actions that harm K-Pop idols. Sasaeng fans intentionally break into and install hidden cameras in the homes of K-Pop idols to get closer to them.
