Sehun EXO Breaks Sales Record for Korean Artists in China

Sehun EXO has now completed his mandatory military service and is ready to take the entertainment stage by storm. One of his first activities after finishing his service is a photoshoot with the Chinese magazine, L'OFFICIEL.

When the magazine featuring Sehun went on sale, it sold 164,895 copies in just one minute. Meanwhile, in one hour, the magazine sold 191,319 copies.

The revenue from the sales in that one hour was RMB 12.4 million or around IDR 28.95 billion.

After 24 hours of sales, the magazine sold up to 214,794 copies, making Sehun break the magazine sales record in China under his own name. He became the foreign artist with the highest magazine sales in 24 hours.

Sehun is the only K-Pop idol whose magazine sales in China have generated profits of over RMB 10 million or around IDR 23.27 billion.
