Kapanlagi.com - The name Kim Jung Hyun has been the talk of the town in the past week. First, he was rumored to be dating his senior and co-star in the drama CRASH LANDING ON YOU, Seo Ji Hye, which was later denied with the reason that they met to discuss Kim Jung Hyun's agency transfer plan.
After that, Kim Jung Hyun's past during the filming of the drama TIME was brought up again. His cold attitude towards Seohyun Girls Generation when attending the drama's press conference was discussed. In addition, SBS staff also said that Kim Jung Hyun made Seohyun suffer during filming. He also requested changes to the script several times before finally withdrawing from the drama due to his disturbed mental health.
Kim Jung Hyun's current agency, O& Entertainment, explained that the reason for his departure from the drama TIME was not actually due to mental health issues. "We announced that he left the drama due to health reasons at that time, but there were issues of Kim Jung Hyun's bad behavior since the press conference due to personal issues related to women. That is the main reason why he left," said the agency, as reported by Koreaboo.

On Monday morning (12/4/2021), Dispatch appeared again. After sharing photos of Kim Jung Hyun and Seo Ji Hye, whom they claimed were dating, the media now mentions the actor's ex-girlfriend. IT'S OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY star, Seo Ye Ji, is referred to as his ex-girlfriend. Kim Jung Hyun and Seo Yei Ji previously worked together in the drama STAR WITH ME in early 2018.
During her relationship with Kim Jung Hyun, Seo Ye Ji was said to have prohibited her boyfriend from having intimate scenes with his co-stars in the drama. Kim Jung Hyun agreed and requested that there be no romantic scenes between him and Seohyun during the filming of TIME.

Dispatch claims to have obtained the original script of the drama TIME. They also found differences between the original script and the scenes in the drama. At the request of Kim Jung Hyun, several scenes and dialogues with Seohyun were changed to eliminate any romantic elements or physical contact.
Dispatch mentions that after analyzing the original script and the scenes in the drama, from episodes 5 to 12, there are 13 scenes that are different between the script and the drama. And all of these scenes require physical contact.
All of these requests were made by Kim Jung Hyun, who wanted the script to be changed because it was too excessive. The reason behind this is because he was experiencing an eating disorder, and the production team finally agreed.
According to Dispatch, all of this was done by Kim Jung Hyun under the orders of his then-girlfriend, Seo Ye Ji. Dispatch then shared a chat between Kim Jung Hyun and Seo Ye Ji regarding these scenes.

Seo Ye Ji: Mr. Kim who is strict, remove all your skinship scenes (skinship = physical contact)
Kim Jung Hyun: Of course
Seo Ye Ji: Why didn't you tell me everything you did today?
Kim Jung Hyun: I didn't even greet any female staff today
Kim Jung Hyun: I am strict with everyone. I told director Jang Joon Ho again that I don't want any romantic scenes, but I don't know how to convey it
Seo Ye Ji: Hehe okay. Be strict in a good way
Kim Jung Hyun: Episode 9 script is out, I think everything needs to be changed
Seo Ye Ji: I hope it succeeds with the editing

Seo Ye Ji: Stay strict, whatever it is. Change everything for the better. No physical contact allowed
Kim Jung Hyun: Definitely. Mr. Kim who is strict
Seo Ye Ji: Is your behavior (today) okay?
Kim Jung Hyun: Of course. Assistant directors and the women are working hard, but I remain strict. I didn't even make eye contact with the girls
Seo Ye Ji: Change it for the better so there are no romantic scenes and physical contact
Kim Jung Hyun: Now it's Seohyun's filming time, so they are chatting. I just told the director to delete all romantic melo scenes in a logical way

Seo Ye Ji: Good, don't greet them
Seo Ye Ji: If they greet you first, just remain stern

Kim Jung Hyun: (sending filming location video)
Seo Ye Ji: You didn't send a video at the filming location?
Kim Jung Hyun: This is at the location. Inside the studio

Seo Ye Ji: Okay. Change it well. No physical contact, no romantic scenes

Sooho (played by Kim Jung Hyun) tries to commit suicide by jumping off a building. Jihyun (played by Seohyun) runs to stop him, preventing both of them from falling. In the script, they were supposed to hug each other after falling to the ground, but in the drama, they were separated.
There is a scene where Seohyun puts a bandage on a wound to express her gratitude. Kim Jung Hyun then asks her to put it on the wounds on his hand and face. Seohyun does it lovingly.
In the drama, Kim Jung Hyun changes the scene by taking the bandage himself and putting it on his hand. He also asks Seohyun not to do it again because he already has his own bandage.

Sooho (Kim Jung Hyun) feels pain due to a brain tumor. In the script, Kim Jung Hyun should stumble and Seohyun helps him by leaning his head on her shoulder until he feels better. In the drama, Kim Jung Hyun, who is stumbling, runs away when Jihyun tries to touch him and vomits.
In this episode, Kim Jung Hyun was also supposed to put a watch on Seohyun. But in the drama, the watch is just placed on the table.

Kim Jung Hyun was supposed to give the shopping bag to Seohyun. In the drama, he placed the bag on the floor. The climax was during the wedding scene, Kim Jung Hyun refused to hold Seohyun's hand, which didn't make sense.
Â
In the final scene before stepping back, Sooho's character is said to have died. A staff member who saw it commented on Kim Jung Hyun's final scene.
"When recording Seohyun's face, Kim Jung Hyun couldn't be recorded either. Seohyun put her hand on Kim Jung Hyun's face, so she could focus on her emotions. Kim Jung Hyun instead pouted. We who saw it felt embarrassed," said the staff member.
Â
One of the staff members said that Kim Jung Hyun kept acting contrary to the script. The actor also kept asking for script changes.
"He kept asking me to change the script. He said mental health is very important and asked to eliminate physical contact. If it's not changed, he will run away," said the staff member.
At first, they believed what Kim Jung Hyun said, even worried about his health. But they began to suspect because Kim Jung Hyun never separated from his phone while on the filming location.
Â
After the circulation of this Dispatch report, agencies Kim Jung Hyun and Seo Ye Ji issued a statement.
"We don't know anything about this. There's nothing we can say," said O& Entertainment, Kim Jung Hyun's agency.
Meanwhile, Seo Ye Ji's agency, Gold Medalist, stated that they will still verify the truth of the Dispatch report.
