The repackaged album version, as the name suggests, will have several new packaging with the same content. There might be one or two additional songs to complete the old album. It is not uncommon for a repackaged album to also include things that make fans more interested in listening to and buying it, such as adding songs that have been written by one of the group members but have never been released.

1. NCT 127

NCT127 is one of the K-Pop groups that has released repackaged albums multiple times throughout their music career. NCT 127 itself is a boy group which is a sub-unit of NCT. They made their debut on July 7, 2016.

The first repackaged album they released was from their full album titled REGULAR-IRREGULAR in 2018. Then, NCT 127 released another repackaged album for NEO ZONE. When repackaged, the album had a completely different concept from its regular version. In fact, the album was given an additional title, NEO ZONE: THE FINAL ROUND.

2. Stray Kids

Stray Kids is also one of the K-Pop groups that released a repackaged album on their comeback in 2020. They repackaged their album titled GO LIVE. The album was released in June 2020. Several months later, Stray Kids announced to the public that they will release their latest work, which is a repackaged album.

The album GO LIVE was changed to IN LIVE for its repackaged version. In this IN LIVE album, the song Back Door became the main track of the album. They released this repackaged album in September 2020, exactly three months after their regular album was officially released.

3. BTS

One of the groups under the management of Big Hit Entertainment, BTS has also released a repackaged album. They made a comeback with the release of the repackaged album on August 24, 2018, titled LOVE YOUR SELF: ANSWER.

The new BTS album packaging includes seven new songs. This repackaged album also marks the culmination of the LOVE YOURSELF series, which has been the theme of BTS' albums since last year. With its release, BTS has achieved several accomplishments, including selling over 2 million copies of the album and topping the Billboard charts twice in a row.

4. Blackpink

If previously there have been many boy groups that have released a repackaged album, now it's the turn of the girl group under YG Entertainment, namely Blackpink who have also released the same thing. The repackaged album they released is titled RE: BLACKPINK.

This album will contain a DVD of their Japanese debut showcase, a photobook, several exclusive photos, and a CD containing songs from Blackpink. In this repackaged album, Blackpink appears in black and white with a neon pink title.

5. TXT

This time, the group is a boy group that made a comeback with a repackaged album and it just happened in 2021, namely TXT. They released this in August 2021 with the title THE CHAOS CHAPTER: FIGHT OR ESCAPE.

This is the first time TXT has released a repackaged album in their music career. It includes three new songs that are added to the album. The songs are a remix version of 0X1=Lovesong (I Know I love You), MOA Diary, and Loser = Lover.
