Solidarity at Its Best! Indonesian ARMY Donates for Palestine, Successfully Collecting Over 800 Million Rupiah, Exceeding the Target of 1 Billion - Still Increasing

This time, ARMY once again shows their concern for the Palestinian victims who have fallen in the battlefield. The humanitarian action they show is driven through the Donasi Peduli Palestina (Care for Palestine Donation).

First reported on Instagram @army_Indonesia, BTS fans immediately spread information about the fundraising through a donation website solusipeduli.org. On this occasion, Indonesian ARMY collaborates with a humanitarian organization, Human Initiative, to distribute the funds they have collected for the victims in Palestine.

1. Achieving Funds of over 800 Million from a Target of 1 Billion

The donation made by BTS fans from Indonesia is titled "BTS Army Indonesia Cares for Palestine". As of Friday (20/10/23) at 16.43 WIB, out of the total target of 1 billion, the donations collected have reached Rp847,070,308. This amount is still increasing.

"We, BTS ARMY INDONESIA, along with @humaninitiative_id and other kind ARMY friends, will help our brothers and sisters in Palestine who have been affected by the conflict for the past few weeks," wrote the @army_indonesia account as the organizer of this donation.

2. Provide Humanitarian Assistance

The Instagram account @army_indonesia provides information regarding the donation they are making to the general public in Indonesia, especially BTS fans. The fundraising is conducted to meet the food and healthcare needs of the affected Palestinians.

"This is not about religion but humanity. Your donations will greatly help and mean a lot to them," they wrote in the caption.

3. Donations Will Be Distributed Soon

Based on the information on the IG page @army_indonesia, the funds collected through "BTS Army Indonesia Cares for Palestine" will be distributed with the help of Human Initiative to the victims in Palestine.

Previously, Human Initiative has already distributed the first stage of aid that they carried out some time ago. Now, the assistance from Army Indonesia will become the second stage of aid that will be mobilized.

"This post is to inform friends that Human Initiative has distributed the first stage of aid that has been sent directly to the post in Palestine. For the second stage of aid, which is the result of assistance from BTS ARMY Indonesia friends, it is planned to be carried out on Monday," said the @army_indonesia account.
