Starring in a Drama Together, Jung Hae In and Jisoo BLACKPINK Reveal Unforgettable Fun Experiences on the Set of 'SNOWDROP'

SNOWDROP presents an emotional love story between Lim Soo Ho (Jung Hae In) and Eun Yeong Ro (Jisoo BLACKPINK) in 16 episodes. This drama is directed and written by Jo Hyun Tak and Yoo Hyun Mi, the duo behind the success of SKY CASTLE. Besides Jung Hae In and Jisoo, SNOWDROP also features other top actors and actresses such as Kim Hye Yoon, Yoo In Na, and Jang Seung Jo.

1. Trying New Things While Filming

Turns out, the filming of SNOWDROP became an opportunity for Jisoo and Jung Hae In to experience and try new things. Among the many exciting experiences they had, learning to dance was the most memorable for both of them.

"Dancing!" Jisoo replied.

"Dancing *laughs*. The only time I seriously danced on a TV show was when I played a character who is a K-Pop idol in my debut drama. I also had the chance to dance with Jisoo in SNOWDROP, and it was really scary. *laughs* Honestly, I was trembling. I felt like a newbie again on the filming set. I usually feel a bit nervous in front of the camera, but I didn't expect to be that nervous. Dancing while filming was really tense. But Jisoo guided and taught me how to get through it, giving me a lot of tips, so everything went smoothly. Thank you, Jisoo!" Jung Hae In expressed.

"To be honest, the entire experience of filming Snowdrop was something new for me. Everything was new and had its own challenges, but it was also very exciting. I received a lot of help and support from the crew and fellow cast members. They made the whole process even more enjoyable," added the BLACKPINK member.

2. Choose Your Favorite Costume

Jung Hae In and Jisoo were also asked about their favorite costumes. Out of the many props on the shooting location, it turns out there are clothes that are most unforgettable to them respectively.

"I didn't have many clothes during the shooting. Even though Soo Ho is a man who doesn't have many clothes, *laughs* one of my favorite clothes is the one he borrowed from Yeong Ro's brother and wore at the open house party at Yeong Ro's dorm," answered Jung Hae In.

"The most impressive shooting prop for me is the paper plane. Yeong Ro uses and flies many paper planes until it becomes a symbol of himself, so it is important to me," said Jisoo.

"My favorite clothing is the feather sandals that Yeong Ro always wears. At first, I thought there was only one pair, so I was very careful not to damage the sandals quickly, but in the end, they still got damaged. When I visited the prop room, it turns out there are a hundred pairs of feather sandals there *laughs*. I was very surprised and I still remember those feather sandals," she added.

3. Interesting Script and Characters

One of the things that makes viewers curious is the reason why Jung Hae In and Jisoo are interested in taking on the roles of Soo Ho and Yeong Ro. I wonder why? Is it because of the interesting script and characters? Here are their answers.

"First of all, I believe in the director and writer of this drama. The script also has a strong and amazing narration," said Jung Hae-in.

"The positive energy of Yeong Ro is the biggest factor in my decision to portray his character. As a musician, my job is to entertain the public and make them smile; and Yeong Ro makes people laugh and can lighten the mood just by being himself. I think I can learn something from him by playing his character. That's what got me interested in this role," Jisoo replied.

4. Unforgettable Experience on Shooting Locations

For funny incidents and unforgettable experiences on set, Jung Hae In and Jisoo have a long list to answer. They both really enjoy the shooting process of SNOWDROP.

"There are so many...You can see my skin tone getting darker as the episodes go on *laughs*. So I sunbathe because my pale skin doesn't really suit Soo-ho's character. It takes a lot of effort. But it's also fun when Jisoo and I do shoots that require CGI elements. On set, we tell ourselves, 'OK, the paper airplane is there,' and we use our imagination to imagine it." A very enjoyable process," Jung Hae In reminisces.

"If I had a different answer every time I was asked this question. What comes to mind right now is the scene in the first episode, where Yeong Ro runs to answer a phone call, which is quite important in the dormitory. I enjoyed the process of shooting that scene. I had to carry the camera in front of me while running because if the cameramen ran with me, the result wouldn't match my movements, especially when I run fast. I'm curious to see the result, and we laugh together when we watch it together, so that's what I remember the most," Jisoo explains.

"It must have been very difficult," Jung Hae In responds.

"Exactly," Jisoo replies.

5. Jung Hae In and Jisoo Helping Each Other

During the filming of SNOWDROP, Jung Hae In and Jisoo were very supportive of each other. The 33-year-old actor revealed that they both discussed how to portray their characters in order to achieve better results.

"I always think about how Soo Ho will respond and adapt to certain conditions. I had many discussions with the director about maintaining the balance of Soo Ho's character, as he is not alone in facing this; the woman he loves also goes through difficult times with him. Jisoo and I talked a lot about this during rehearsals and formed reactions to each other. It was a fun and supportive process," said the actor.
