Krystal is a former singer from the girl group f(x). Under the management of SM Entertainment, their success had to come to a halt when one of the members of f(x), Sulli, passed away. This news was devastating to hear, so the members decided to pursue their individual careers while still reuniting and remembering their departed friend.

According to South Korean media outlet NAVER, Krystal revealed that she is always open to the idea of singing. Due to being too focused on the fashion and acting world, fans started wondering if she would return to her singing career.

In a recent interview with Herald POP held at a cafe in Seoul, Krystal admitted that her career as a singer helped her transition into the acting world. "It's not that I intentionally didn't pursue a career as a singer. It's just that the timing wasn't right, and it doesn't mean I don't have any ideas," she said.

According to Krystal, there are many advantages to acting. Currently, there are so many idols who have ventured into acting, and there is no longer a prejudice that idols can only sing, so she believes it would be better if she could do it all. She doesn't know when she will return to singing, but she has plans to pursue a career as a singer.

Furthermore, Krystal also mentioned that singing has helped her in acting. So it's difficult for her to choose, because both are very different. If she had never been a singer in the group f(x), she wouldn't have ventured into the acting world.
