Still in the Recovery Process, Wendy Will Not Participate in Red Velvet Concert Tour in Japan

Kapanlagi.com - An unfortunate incident recently happened to Wendy Red Velvet. As known, while practicing for SBS Gayo Daejeon 2019, the Idol had an accident and fell from the stage.

Because of that, Wendy had to be taken to the hospital. According to the received reports, the SM Entertainment star suffered a broken hip, wrist, and facial injuries.

Now, Wendy is still in the recovery period. Because of that, she cannot participate in various Red Velvet activities. Including the concert tour in Japan.

1. Concert Tour

On Monday (6/1/2020), a statement was made on the official Japanese Red Velvet website regarding their concert tour titled 'Red Velvet Arena Tour in Japan - La Rouge'.

In the announcement, it was also mentioned that Wendy will not be participating in the concert tour. "Wendy cannot participate in the tour due to an injury she sustained after falling from the stage during rehearsals for a performance in Korea last year," they said.

It was revealed that the concert tour will be attended by the other four members, Irene, Seulgi, Joy, and Yeri. They also expressed apologies to the fans who were looking forward to Wendy's performance.

"We deeply apologize to all the fans who were anticipating Wendy's involvement. We will assist anyone who wishes to have their tickets refunded. We will inform you about Wendy's return to activities in Japan once it is decided," they concluded.
