Sulli's Mother Turns Out to Oppose Her Daughter's Relationship with Choiza, They Had a Fight - Strained Relationship

Kapanlagi.com - The departure of Sulli in 2019 still leaves grief, especially for her family and close relatives. To commemorate the talented actress and K-Pop idol, MBC released a documentary titled Why Was Sulli Uncomfortable? which features Sulli's mother.

In this program, which aired on Thursday (10/9/2020), Sulli's mother reminisces about her beloved daughter, Choi Jinri. In her story, Sulli's mother also discusses the relationship between this former fx member and Choiza.

"(Our) family was happy before the news of Sulli dating (Choiza) was released," said Sulli's mother as quoted from Allkpop.

1. Initially Didn't Believe

Mother Sulli remembers how she initially didn't believe when the news came out. She even had to confirm the truth of the news herself by calling her daughter.

"I didn't believe it when I first saw the photos. I thought it was false information. So I called and Sulli said that (the news) is true." she said.

2. Changed after Dating

Furthermore, Mother Sulli also explained that Sulli changed after dating. She admitted to being shocked by her daughter's new habits that she had never done before.

"It feels like climbing several stairs at once after her boyfriend, who is thirteen years older, appeared. (Sulli's) lifestyle, including hanging out culture, drinking alcohol, food, and even her way of talking suddenly changed. There was no intermediary process," added Mother Sulli.

3. Had a Fight

Ibu Sulli then explained how her family's relationship became strained after the news of her daughter's dating was released. After that, it was said that Sulli and her mother still maintained a relationship but they rarely met.

"Sulli felt disappointed and sad, so she got angry. She said, 'how can my mother not accept the person I like?' She said she had gone through difficult times and earned money. She asked me how much (money) she had earned and told us to write a statement for the next income. That's when our relationship fell apart," she recalled.
