Super Junior Parodies My Music Video, Rossa: They Help Introduce My Song

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Rossa admitted to being surprised when the music video for the song Hati Yang Kau Sakiti (The Heart You Hurt) parodied by Super Junior went viral on social media. The mother of one felt very grateful for what the Super Junior members created.

"I was really surprised, like 'how is this possible?' It's trending and it's really funny, the BTS (Behind The Scene) is really funny," she said in a recent virtual interview.

1. Ryeowook Asks for Permission

Indeed, Rossa collaborated with Dion Wiyoko and one of the members of Super Junior, Lee Donghae, in her music video. Apparently, Ryeowook, another member of the Korean boyband, was interested in making a parody of the music video and asked for permission from Rossa.

"Ryeowook asked me, 'is it okay if we parody your music video?'. Well, it's okay, it's more than okay, and Ryeowook has a great voice, he sang the Indonesian parts of the music video parody," Rossa said.

"They helped to promote my song, it's amazing how they showed their support for Rossa by parodying it. Donghae also supported me, because Donghae was there too," Rossa added.

2. Positive Impact for Indonesian Songs

Rossa hopes that what boyband Super Junior is doing can have a positive impact on the development of Indonesian songs so that they can be known worldwide. Especially since Super Junior has many fans from all over the world.

"Because it's not only Koreans who watch SuJu, they have many fans in the Arab world, Latin America, Japan, and so on. If they perform Indonesian songs, they will help Indonesian songs to be heard even further," she concluded.
