Not Using Green Screen at All! Here are 9 Behind-the-Scenes Photos of BTS' 'Permission to Dance' MV Shooting Location that are Super Cool

As known, the MV Permission to Dance features impressive sets such as trucks and restaurants in the middle of the desert. Well, it turns out they didn't use green screen at all.

This fact was revealed from the post of duo art directors MU:E (Jinsil Park and Bona Kim) who uncovered behind-the-scenes photos of the shooting location before finalization.

In those photos, construction workers can be seen laying the foundation for the set where BTS showcased choreography and performed restaurant scenes.

As art directors, MU:E is responsible for the set design in the music video. They direct the team in selecting props and building the necessary background to create an atmosphere that aligns with the song's concept.

The set design used is truly extraordinary. Its appearance in the music video is very similar to real life. Both are cool!

MU:E ensures that every set detail has a purpose. Like in the laundry scene, where purple balloons, which are BTS' signature color, are placed inside ten washing machines.

This is not the first time MU:E has collaborated with BTS to work on their music videos. Previously, MU:E was also involved in the production of BTS' first English-language song, Dynamite.

They have also served as art directors and production designers for the songs IDOL and Boy With Luv. It can be seen that colorful and vibrant music videos are not new to them.

BTS' amazing songs definitely require equally cool music videos. It's even cooler because the shooting locations are meticulously built without the help of green screens.
