The Mystery Behind Jin BTS' Audition at SM Entertainment Finally Revealed

In a radio broadcast, as reported by Koreaboo, BTS's Jin revealed that he was contacted by a talent scout from SM Entertainment.

"At that time, I was 15 years old and I hadn't auditioned on the road held by Big Hit Music yet. So, you could say that SM Entertainment contacted me first," he said.

Furthermore, BTS's Jin revealed that at that time he went through a phone interview as the initial stage of the audition process with SM Entertainment. The host then asked, "Why didn't you continue the audition there?"

Jin replied, "Actually, I did. They even contacted me again. However, I decided not to go to continue the audition to the next stage at SM Entertainment."

3. Feeling Less Confident

The host continued, if at that time SM Entertainment was the biggest and most prestigious entertainment company in Korea. It could be, for example, if Jin BTS wanted to continue the audition, SM Entertainment would be a brilliant career opportunity for him.
