Disney+ has officially announced the star-studded cast for their upcoming drama, The Manipulated (previously known as Sculptured City). The drama will star Ji Chang Wook, Doh Kyungsoo (D.O. EXO), Lee Kwang Soo, and young star Jo Yoon Soo. The series is set to premiere in 2025 and has garnered attention due to its thrilling story concept.
'The Manipulated' is written by Oh Sang Ho, the writer behind the success of the series 'Taxi Driver' and the film 'The Roundup: Punishment' (The Outlaws 4). This drama features an action genre with a story full of intrigue and revenge. Its main focus is the journey of an ordinary man whose life is shattered after being framed for a crime.
Ji Chang Wook will play the main character, Tae Joong, a man who is thrown into prison on charges of a crime he did not commit. In his quest for justice, he discovers that this is all a plan orchestrated by Yo Han, played by Doh Kyungsoo.
Doh Kyungsoo will portray Yo Han, a cold and ruthless manipulator who is the mastermind behind the trap. In his first role as a villain, Doh Kyungsoo is ready to showcase a dark side he has never displayed before, increasing fan anticipation for his intense acting.
Lee Kwang Soo will play Baek Do Kyung, an important figure who holds the key to uncovering the great mystery behind this conspiracy. His role promises to add tension throughout the storyline.
