Get ready KLovers, the Korean Drama THE SILENT SEA will premiere tomorrow on Netflix! A sci-fi thriller genre, THE SILENT SEA tells the story of the year 2075 when Earth is about to be destroyed due to its depleting natural resources. Gong Yoo, Bae Doona, and their astronaut team explore the moon to find the remnants of a secret mission base. The main goal of this journey is to find a new hope for a place to live other than Earth. One possible place to live on the moon is an area called 'The Silent Sea'. However, unfortunately, they become trapped in the isolation of the base with only a 10% chance of survival and other tragic facts. The shooting process of this drama is certainly not easy, the cast members have to wear authentic astronaut suits weighing 8.5 kilograms and undergo anti-gravity movement training. The players are given a question, "We are talking about sets, but one thing that interests me is spacesuits. They look really cool, but I heard they are very heavy when you wear them. How is it? Who will talk to us about spacesuits?"

Bae Doona explained that the suits are made as light as possible for comfortable shooting, but they still feel quite heavy.

Bae Doona even weighed the spacesuit and it turned out to be 8.5kg without the helmet and oxygen tank.

When wearing the complete gear from the helmet to the boots, Bae Doona feels like she is really on the moon.

Bae Doona also explained that it took time for her to adapt to the spacesuit because it felt like being choked and difficult to breathe.

She also explained that this is what makes the actors immerse themselves in their characters, because the learning process together enhances their chemistry.

Bae Doona also added that the actors were trained by a special choreographer who taught them how to look back, move, and walk in low gravity using cables.
