The Real Charity Fairy, Jisoo BLACKPINK Donates All Profits from Her YouTube Channel

According to South Korean media outlet Hankook Ilbo, Jisoo recently donated all the profits she obtained from YouTube to Save the Children.

The charity organization will use Jisoo's donation to create a mangrove forest in the Ca Mau region of Vietnam as part of their mangrove planting project.

Many volunteers have been working to restore mangrove forests as protection for the coastal areas in the Ca Mau region of Vietnam.

FYI, Jisoo started her own YouTube channel in January 2023. Currently, the channel has grown rapidly and has five million subscribers.

Jisoo has expressed her interest in donating the money she earned from YouTube even before her charity work with Save the Children.

On the other hand, Jisoo starts a new chapter by establishing the label BLISSOO, which signifies her bold step in engaging in solo activities.

In the afternoon of February 21, 2024, representatives from BLISSOO announced a new platform that will serve as Jisoo's new outlet when she's not with BLACKPINK.

"We are launching our official website and social media channels today. We aim to create a dynamic platform for Jisoo to actively engage with her fans. Through various activities that are not limited to one field, we plan to showcase Jisoo's positive energy and present diverse moments to the audience."

BLISSOO itself combines the word Bliss, which means the highest happiness, with the charm of an artist, which is similar to a precious gift, to mark the beginning of Jisoo's new journey.

Of course, we are all looking forward to Jisso's new breakthrough outside of BLACKPINK, who renewed their contract with YG Entertainment for group activities at the end of last year.
