The Writer's Response to Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin Not Becoming a Couple in the Drama 'OUR BLUES'

The writer of OUR BLUES, Noh Hee Gyoung, explained why Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin did not end up as a couple in the drama.

"I knew they wouldn't join the project if they appeared as a couple. When I cast them, I told them that they wouldn't appear as a couple and each of them would have a romantic relationship with someone else," she said.

Noh Hee Gyoung then explained that she was relieved that the couple Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin accepted the offer to play in OUR BLUES. She also gave them praise.

"And luckily they didn't mind it. I wanted to choose them because they are great actors. I didn't think too much about anything else. They are cool and professional," she added.

Shin Min Ah said that they always support each other in everything, including their careers as actors and actresses.

"Because we have the same job, we always support each other. I wish the best for him to return to acting soon," she said as quoted by Koreaboo.

In May 2017, Kim Woo Bin decided to take a break from the entertainment world since being diagnosed with nasopharynx cancer, a type of head and neck cancer. After two and a half years of treatment, Kim Woo Bin signed a contract with AM Entertainment, the same agency as his girlfriend.
