Next is the maknae (youngest member) of BTS known as Jungkook. Interestingly, during his trainee period, he was almost debuted with the name Seagull which means sea lion!
Because this name was too eccentric, another decision was made. The handsome idol with a lot of talent officially debuted with his real name as his stage name, Jungkook.
Many do not know that Chung Ha is the stage name of this former I.O.I member. Yup, this beautiful solo idol's real name is Kim Chan Mi.
Interestingly, before her debut, there were many stage name options for Chung Ha. Starting from Seo An, Ji An, to Seri. But in the end, Chung Ha was chosen, which means 'calling the summer'.
Sehun is the maknae (youngest member) of the group EXO. This idol is well-known for his handsome visuals, resembling a prince. Before his debut, he almost had a different stage name, Seoul (spelled Se Wool).
However, the suggestion from SM Entertainment itself was strongly opposed by the staff. Because the chosen name was similar to the city of Seoul. Eventually, Sehun debuted using his original name.
Lastly, there's Sowon, who is the leader of the girl group Gfriend. Initially, this beautiful idol was going to debut with abbreviated names like P.B (Perfect Beauty) or F.B (Fine Beauty).
However, because other members debuted with Korean stage names instead of English, the girl with the real name Kim So Jung debuted with the name Sowon.
On February 21, BTS made a comeback with the album MAP OF THE SOUL: 7. One of them released a solo song titled Filter.
