Vidi Aldiano's Grave Never Lacks Visitors, Harry Kiss Plants Trees for a Shaded Atmosphere

It has been almost three weeks since Vidi Aldiano passed away, yet his grave at TPU Tanah Kusir is never devoid of visitors. The many visitors prompted Harry Kiss, the father of the deceased, to feel the need to provide comfort for those who wish to pray for his son.

Harry observed that the grave area felt very hot during the day. Therefore, he took the initiative to plant several trees around Vidi's grave to create a cooler atmosphere for friends and colleagues who come to visit.

"The 19th day after Vidi left us all. What I noticed is that Vidi had many visitors every day. That's why I asked the burial team earlier, because during the day here it's extremely hot, so I asked the burial team here to plant trees around. So that the people who visit can be a bit more comfortable, you know," said Harry Kiss at Vidi Aldiano's grave, Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, Wednesday (25/3/2026).

All this time, Harry often saw visitors coming unprepared for the hot weather. With the new trees, it is hoped that the visitors can be more comfortable while sending their prayers.

"All this time, if I brought an umbrella, then when people came, no one brought an umbrella, they weren't prepared, right? That's why after these trees were planted, there have already been four trees planted, they have started to be dug. Well, thank God it has been agreed upon with the team here," said Harry.

Not only the pilgrims were overwhelming, but the number of flowers scattered on Vidi's grave was also extraordinary. The cemetery staff even reported that every afternoon they had to clean up a large number of flowers to keep the grass on the grave maintained.

"And what's funny is that in the morning, the flowers on Vidi's grave are full. In the afternoon yesterday, it was empty. Apparently, the cemetery staff said that since the grass is still new, they clean up the scattered flowers in the afternoon. They reported, 'Sir, we can collect two sacks of scattered flowers in a day.' The next morning, it’s full again, and it keeps going like that," he said.

Harry also did not forget to express his gratitude and thanks to everyone who continues to give attention and affection for his son.

"Yes, Alhamdulillah, so thank you to the pilgrims, to Vidi's colleagues, to friends, for always praying for Vidi," concluded Harry Kiss.
