Waterbomb Festival Held for the First Time in Jakarta, Will Feature K-Pop Idols and BCL

Kapanlagi.com - For the first time, the Waterbomb Festival will be held in Jakarta. This music festival combined with a water fight, titled Waterbomb 2024 Jakarta, will take place at The Phantom Park, PIK 2, North Jakarta on November 1 and 2, 2024.

The Waterbomb Festival was first held in South Korea in 2015 at the Jamsil Sport Complex, Seoul. After that, it began to spread to other countries and now it will be in Indonesia.

The combination of music and water fights will certainly make the atmosphere even more festive. Especially since singers from South Korea and local musicians will also participate in the festival.

1. 60 Percent Korean Artists - 40 Percent Indonesian Artists

It turns out that the people who initiated the presence of the music festival while playing in the water are Raffi Ahmad and Rudy Salim together with Prestige Promotions. There will be solo singers as well as groups from South Korea that are confirmed to participate.

"The lineup composition will include solo acts and also groups. 60 percent of the artists will be Korean and 40 percent will be from Indonesia," said Rudy Salim, Chairman of Prestige Promotions, during a press conference at The Phantom, PIK 2, Tanggerang, Monday (26/8).

2. Korean Line Up is Still a Secret

Unfortunately, the lineup from Korea has not yet been revealed by Rudy Salim. However, he assured that there will be several big names participating in the Waterbomb 2024 Jakarta music festival.

"For the headliners, there will be about two top ones. The rest are all top as well, and their names are no less (popular)," said Rudy Salim.

"We have already hinted that from the top 20 wish list, we will fulfill most of them, the top 3 (singers from South Korea), two of them we will fulfill, one unfortunately has a scheduling conflict. So from that, you might be able to see from the comments (Instagram) who will appear," Rudy Salim added.

3. There are BCL and Cinta Laura!

From within the country itself, Bunga Citra Lestari, Cinta Laura, and RamenGvrl are confirmed to perform at the festival. This will certainly enliven the festival, which usually becomes a celebration when summer arrives in the Ginseng Country.

"Hopefully, it can bring a new color and also a new lifestyle entertainment experience when we watch a K-Pop concert with a DJ set or something, but this will really have rain showers, and it will be something exciting because when people see something new, it is definitely interesting," explained Raffi Ahmad.

In addition to performances by musicians from the hip-hop and EDM genres, the Waterbomb Festival also offers a different experience with water sprays for the audience. Currently, Presale 1 tickets are already on sale, ranging in price from Rp 900,000 to Rp 45 million.
