While Crying, Joy Red Velvet Reveals Touching Message from Wendy to Her

Kapanlagi.com - Joy Red Velvet shed tears while talking about her groupmate, Wendy, who couldn't attend their concert. The main vocal of Red Velvet couldn't participate in their concert series after experiencing a stage accident at the end of 2019.

In one of Red Velvet's concerts, Joy revealed how important Wendy's presence on stage was to her. She mentioned that before the concert started, Wendy sent her a short but warm message that also made her sad.

"Do well in replacing me," wrote Wendy in the short message, as quoted from Koreaboo, on Friday (24/1/2020).

Joy stated that she is trying her best to give her best performance on stage. However, she always remembers Wendy and the short message she received before the concert started.

Joy also revealed the difficulties they are facing, including the other members. She even stated that it is currently very difficult for them to perform cheerful songs on stage because it contradicts with the mood they are currently feeling.

2. Source of Inspiration on Stage

Furthermore, Joy mentioned Wendy as one of her sources of inspiration on stage. Therefore, Wendy's absence from this concert series makes her feel very sad and difficult. However, she and the other members are doing everything they can to fill Wendy's part.

"Honestly, the fact that Wendy unnie, who has always been my mental support, is not here makes me feel difficult. However, like today, the four of us are working very hard to fill Wendy's empty spot. Thank you for continuously cheering us on," said Joy while holding back tears.
