Who would have thought, these 6 K-Pop MVs were actually filmed at famous Korean universities

From several popular K-Pop MVs, perhaps not many would expect that they were shot in unusual locations, such as campuses. Not just any campus, but a series of famous and top universities in Korea.

BTS and BLACKPINK apparently have MVs that were shot in famous Korean universities. Further information is as follows.

1. BLACKPINK - As If It Was Your Last

First, there is the song As If It Was Your Last by BLACKPINK, which has a very familiar MV. If you pay close attention, you can see BLACKPINK performing in a place with several large pillars.

Apparently, it is not just a set for shooting, but the place actually exists. It is the amphitheater at a famous Korean university, Kyunghee University. The place is iconic for holding various concerts and campus festivals.

2. BTS - HYYH On Stage: Prologue

Several old BTS songs also often take shooting locations for MVs in iconic places. One of them is HYYH On Stage: Prologue which features an unused swimming pool.

The abandoned swimming pool is not just a shooting set, but it actually exists in one of Korea's top campuses, Seoul National University. Unfortunately, its appearance is no longer the same as in the BTS MV, as the campus has renovated it.

3. A.C.E - Savage

Next is the MV Savage by K-Pop idol A.C.E. In the MV, there is a creepy-looking staircase-filled corridor with dim lights.

Once again, the place is not just a one-time shooting location, but it actually exists. The dystopian-esque building is the basement floor of the gym in the famous Korean campus, Daejin University.

4. SEVENTEEN - Mansae (Part Switch Vers.)

SEVENTEEN has also done a shooting that made the campus as its location. Precisely in the MV Mansae (Part Switch Vers.). In the MV, SEVENTEEN can be seen standing in a magnificent building which is none other than Keimyung University, Daemyeong campus.

The famous campus is located in Daegu, Korea. Moreover, it is interesting that the building owned by Keimyung University is often used as a shooting location. It is even reported that there are already more than 100 Korean film and drama titles that have been shot on campus.

5. Lovelyz - Obliviate

When seeing the MV Obliviate by Lovelyz for the first time, some people might think that the location is abroad. Because, there is a magnificent building that is so synonymous with European architecture.

In fact, Lovelyz took the shooting location for the MV in Korea. Precisely in the iconic building owned by one of the famous campuses in Korea, namely Tongwon University.

6. 2PM - Promise (I'll Be)

Last but not least, there is a 2PM MV titled Promise (I'll Be) which appears to feature a magnificent church with Italian architecture. However, who would have thought that the location is not actually in the land of Pizza.

Instead, 2PM filmed their MV at an iconic building owned by the famous Korean campus, Kyunghee University. The building is commonly known as the Grand Peace Palace and is often used as a theater.
