Involved in the first film, Yoona is confirmed to return in the sequel CONFIDENTIAL ASSIGNMENT 2: INTERNATIONAL. She will still portray the character Park Min Young, a YouTuber who is depicted as being very fond of Im Chul Ryung (Hyun Bin).

This sequel tells the story of Im Chul Ryung returning to South Korea with a new mission, which is to chase after a brutal criminal organization. In carrying out his mission, he teams up again with Kang Jin Tae (Yu Hae Jin), who has been transferred to the cyber team due to a mistake.

This film is directed by Lee Sang Geun, who also directed EXIT, one of Yoona's hit films co-starring Jo Jung Suk.
