Sad news comes from BTS's V. On December 2, 2024, BTS's V announced that his beloved dog, Yeontan, has passed away. This news was conveyed by V through an Instagram story post, which instantly made ARMYs worldwide feel the loss.

In his Instagram story post, V of BTS began his message by greeting ARMY, asking if they were enjoying the warm end-of-year season.
Next, V, who felt it had been a long time since he greeted ARMY through a song, discussed his latest music project with Park Hyo Shin, as well as a cover project of his song.
Unfortunately, this happy news had to be followed by sad news, where Yeontan, his beloved dog, had just "gone on a long journey to the stars."
V initially felt worried about how to express this sad news, but after considering how much love ARMY had for Yeontan, he felt it was necessary to share it.
Fyi, previously V mentioned that Yeontan has a history of heart disease and has undergone two surgeries, both of which were unsuccessful.
Not only that, Yeontan is also known to have an anomaly, where the Pomeranian dog is said to have difficulty breathing.
Although in mourning, V hopes that by the end of this year ARMY can feel warmth and express their love to their loved ones.
V also closed the message with the hope that ARMY stays healthy until he can meet them again, expressing deep love and gratitude.
The news of Yeontan's passing suddenly made ARMY feel sad and a sense of loss for their beloved pet. However, they admitted to feeling relieved because Yeontan is no longer in pain.
The togetherness of V and Yeontan is now just a memory, but the love that the idol has for his beloved dog will continue to live in our hearts. RIP Yeontan.
