Since February 2019, Dawn Lee informed her fans that she was suffering from septal lymphoma and shared her experiences during the healing process.

Nevertheless, Dawn Lee has found new courage. "Now I am calm so I can convey this calmly, but I am also nervous. I am going to the hospital again for chemotherapy. But I am still eating fish soup for lunch. I will be healthy again and live."
On Sunday (30/5/2021), CEO of Ice Creative Kim Eun Ha delivered the sad news of Dawn Lee's passing, which saddened many people.
His last post and vlog also received condolences. In his last IG post when he uploaded a bright day, Dawn wrote, 'When I leave the hospital, will the weather be like this?'
