A Number of Indonesian Musicians Will Perform in the Year-End Charity Concert titled BARA DALAM BAIT BERDONASI

Kapanlagi.com - Global Indonesian Travel Enthusiasts (GPWI) will hold a Year-End Charity Concert titled BARA DALAM BAIT BERDONASI on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Mayang Sunda Building, Jalan Peta 209, Bandung City.

The event, in collaboration with the Bandung City Cultural and Tourism Office (DISBUDPAR) and several related institutions, invites a number of Indonesian musicians, such as JIKUN /rif, OVY /rif, TEDDY /rif, SANDY Pas Band, and JOHN Angelz who are part of ROCK 80.

1. Collaboration

Not to be missed, local artists from Bandung City who are part of the Collaboration of 9 (nine) Traditional Art Communities will also showcase their skills at the event. Including Jaipongan Dance, Rampak Kendang, Angklung, Calung, Pencak Silat, Kaulinan, SUDOR (Bodor Magic), Usik Maenpo Gan Gan Garmana.

This event actually starts from December 23, 2021 with activities including Mass Child Vaccination and Bogaraza Group UMKM Bazaar.

2. The Right Time

Seeing the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic that has been felt by all layers of society for nearly 2 years, and also seeing that the situation and conditions are now more conducive, we have decided that the end of 2021 is the right time. For Donation Fund Distribution, we are also collaborating with Rumah Zakat.

"We have had extensive discussions on how this event should be held, as well as its pros and cons. This event

has of course obtained permission. All committees and musicians that we have invited have been vaccinated, and will still undergo Antigen tests on the day of the event," said Herly Setiawan, Sub Sector of Crafts and Performing Arts UPT. PSKK Disbudpar Kota Bandung.

3. Offline & Virtual

This event will be conducted in two ways, namely offline and virtual. Specifically for offline on December 23, 2021, starting from 07.00 - 14.00 WIB, there will be a Bazaar Event presented by BOGARAZA Group, as well as a Medical Team to conduct Mass Child Vaccination. As for the virtual event, it can be watched on iNews TV on December 24, 2021.

"This event is also a tribute to the late Mr. Oded Danial, Mayor of Bandung. And hopefully, this event can also be the first step for the creative industry of Bandung City to rise again after the Covid 19 pandemic. The hope is that in 2022, things can return to normal," said Mr. Fajar Suharyadi, Chairman of GPWI.
