Coconut Treez Presents an Online Concert with NFT Technology for the Late Steven Kaligis

Kapanlagi.com - Bantayahall as the first online concert platform in Indonesia recently successfully held its third concert. The concert, which was held at the Jakarta Arts Building (GKJ), was intended to commemorate and honor the late Steven Kaligis, the former vocalist of Steven & Coconut Treez.

The concert, which took place on Tuesday (30/11), started at 17.00 WIB and was held simply. Considering that the concert itself was held virtually, the performances of the performers could be watched by online viewers throughout Indonesia.

A series of top musicians also enlivened the concert titled Langsamkan, such as Melanie Subono, Arie Dagienk, Ifan Seventeen, Iwa K, Ojan Sisitipsi, Kikan Coklat, Iwanouz and Aponk The Ikan Bakar. This concert is believed to be a milestone for Bantayahall in the future.

Bantaya Hall CEO and Coconut Treez Band Rival Himran's Bassist stated that this Hybrid concert showcases a new lifestyle in the digital era. This concept can also be a solution for musicians to still be able to earn money during this pandemic era.

"This is a solution for many local, national, and international artists. Our hope with this bantaya platform is that artists can create and directly benefit from their work by selling tickets," said Rival.

Bantayahall, which is part of Mitra Sangkara Abadi (MSA), the owner of Crypto SANGKARA $MISA tokens, is committed to helping Indonesian artists create NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). 3. The Death of Steven Kaligis

Sadness once again comes from the entertainment world of the homeland. The vocalist of the band Steven & The Coconut Treez, Steven Nugraha Kaligis, has passed away.

When initially confirmed, the manager stated that Steven had been infected with Covid-19. However, when met after the vocalist's funeral, the news was immediately clarified by Putra, the manager of Steven & Coconut Treez.

"Basically, we just want to clarify the truth, he was infected with Covid-19 and then tested negative last Monday. Then, when he was about to go home, his kidney problem recurred and finally this morning he took his last breath," said Putra.

4. Kidney Failure

In the same occasion, one of the members of Steven & The Coconut Treez, Tege, confirmed that Steven Kaligis passed away due to his illness. He also revealed that his friend had been enduring the pain for 4 years.

"Innalillahi, our friend, our relative, my talented vocalist, Stevan Anugrah Kaligis has passed away due to his illness. Honestly, he had been enduring the pain for the past 4 years," added Tege.

Tege also disclosed that Steven Kaligis suffered from kidney disease and had sought treatment everywhere. The illness frequently relapsed when his condition worsened, leading to his hospitalization.

"He had kidney failure and sought treatment and medical care. However, there were some factors that caused his condition to worsen, perhaps due to exhaustion from being admitted to the hospital," continued Tege.

5. Condition Drops

Before taking his last breath, the late Steven had already tested negative for Covid 19. However, his kidney disease had already spread to other organs, eventually leading to Steven Nugraha Kaligis taking his last breath.

"Initially, he was positive, but a few days ago he tested negative. But because his kidneys had already taken other organs, he dropped again," said Tege.

"On Monday, he tested negative, but because his kidneys worsened, he couldn't bear it anymore, so he passed away. May he rest in peace. Please pray for everyone," Tege concluded.
