Admitting that Ten 2 Five has been asleep for too long, Imel feels that she does not have any work during those 6 years. However, Ten 2 Five has learned a lot from their previous albums, which they consider never surpassing the popularity of their first album. The members of Ten 2 Five were also frustrated because their efforts did not go well.

"That happened in the second album. At that time, we were super confident because the first album was successful, so there was pressure because the first album exploded. When we imagined the euphoria of our first album, our self-confidence level was over. We thought we found a successful song, put our ideals into it. Turns out it didn't go well, it wasn't even heard at all," said Imel when met in Pondok Labu, South Jakarta, on Friday (28/2).

When preparing their latest album, the members of Ten 2 Five wanted to convey a deeper message. No longer focusing on teenage love, this band, which has been active since 1998, now focuses more on more serious relationships and family.

"Coincidentally, we are all married. The old album was more about teenage love, puppy love, but now it's deeper. There are songs about love for children, family, and also relationships but more serious. This is maturity. The message in this album is more about family," said Ardi.

2. Tour Plan

Ten 2 Five also expressed their desire to hold a tour after not meeting their fans for a long time. They hope that this desire can be realized this year.

"We want to have a tour for our fans, but we don't have a sponsor yet. We really want it. It's been a long time since we last had a tour, hopefully, we can have one this year," said Ardi.
