Alonzo Brata Successfully Impresses on the Second Day of Java Jazz Festival 2023

Kapanlagi.com - Young singer Alonzo Brata impressed on the second day of the BNI Java Jazz Festival 2023, Saturday (3/6/2023). Performing on the Wonderful Indonesia Stage, Alonzo Brata's performance deserves praise. He performed alongside Stacey Ryan in Blibli Hall.

Despite performing at the same time as a world-renowned singer, Alonzo Brata was not intimidated and still gave his best performance. The audience also enjoyed his performance on stage.

"I just tried to give my best performance on the outer stage, in the center, on the Wonderful Indonesia Stage," said Alonzo Brata in an interview before the show.

Alonzo Brata opened his performance with the song "Route 66" by Bobby Troup, written in 1946. Then, he sang songs by top legendary singers in the world, such as "Ain't That a Kick in the Head", "Orange Colored Sky", "Birth of The Blues", and "Haven't We Met". Not only did he sing other musicians' works, but he also performed his own song titled "Strollin' Down the Avenue".

"The title is Strollin' Down the Avenue, created by Nial Djuliarso with lyrics written by Mari Kartika and I have already recorded it for digital music platforms," he said.

Along with the Java Jazz Festival 2023, Alonzo Brata got a special opportunity. In addition to performing at Java Jazz Festival 2023, he will also perform at several other JJF (Java Jazz Festival) events.

Starting from the event at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, the JJF 2023 press conference at Hard Rock Cafe. It doesn't stop there, he also fills the road show to Java Jazz or Jazz on The Move at Puri Mall and Sarinah.

"I saw Ron King and Jazzmeia Horn. I like the way Jazzmeia communicates with the audience, and I want to apply it on stage. I believe, seeing festivals like this, will help me become a better musician," said Alonzo Brata.
