"The funny thing is that I was told not by the Sony team, but by the YAKIN NIKAH team. So I already knew one of their marketing people, and then they said, 'Hey, you are the soundtrack for the YAKIN NIKAH movie.' And I was like, 'Huh, seriously?'," Aruma said when met in the Kuningan area of South Jakarta on Thursday (2/10).

The song Muak itself is played twice throughout the film's story. This is because the song is considered to very well represent the feelings of the main character in YAKIN NIKAH. Aruma feels that the presence of her song can strengthen the emotional aspect of the film.

"So it’s like the national anthem of the main character’s angst, you know? That’s why I’m here to represent the feelings of those who are fed up with moments before marriage. So I feel like this song really represents the feelings in the film," she added.

"Yes, surprisingly. Because maybe many people feel this sense of disgust. So, it connects really well with the storyline of YAKIN NIKAH itself," said Aruma.
