Bali Bounces Back, Prost Fest 2022 Marks the Revival of Music Festivals After being Hit by the Pandemic

Prost Fest 2022 has a difference with other festival music shows. This festival will feature 60% Balinese bands/musicians and 40% musicians from outside Bali. The organizer says that the way to curate the performers is to prioritize national bands that rarely perform on the Island of the Gods and local bands from the underground scene.

"As a festival that is being held for the first time, Prost Fest 2022 wants to be a platform to showcase talent and work for Indonesian musicians. Both those on a national scale and emerging new artists in the Indonesian music industry," said Muhamad Aldian, Program Director of Prost Fest in his statement in Menteng area, Wednesday (29/6) yesterday.

Prost Fest 2022 has confirmed its lineup of performers, namely Slank, Milledenials, Jason Ranti, Rub of Rub, Barasuara, Juicy Luicy, The Dare, Kaleb J, Shaggy Dog, Joni Agung & Double T, The Panturas, Rollfast, HIVI, The Adams, Navicula, The Hydrant, Ndarboy Genk, Nostress, Diskoria, Soulfood, Superman is Dead, Mahalini feat. Rizky Febian, and Manja.

In addition, there are 10 more names ready to be part of the fun in the two stages presented at Prost Fest 2022; Prost Stage and Singaraja Stage. In total, there will be 34 performers where for Singaraja Stage will be a place to explore around 60% of local Bali artists and bands.

Not only presenting music, Prost Fest 2022 will also feature '360 Bar' to accommodate F&B needs while providing fresh and memorable experiences for festival goers in Indonesia and travelers anywhere.

"As the name implies, this bar is shaped like a 360-degree bar that will roam the festival area with many bartenders," said Muhamad Aldian.

Prost Fest 2022 is one of the moments of the revival of music festivals in Indonesia that is slowly returning to life. The creative economy ecosystem in the country is said to be growing again after being devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic for the past two years.
