Bongky BIP Calls for a Sharing Revolution

Kapanlagi.com - BIP personnel, Bongky BIP, said that the profession of a musician is closely related to sharing activities. In other words, musicians are used to sharing their work for the public to enjoy.

"Musicians share their work with the public. So we are close to the concept of sharing," said Bongky during the 'Kongkow Bareng Musisi Berbagi' event held by the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS), on Thursday (28/4/2022).

Therefore, Bongky Ismail Marcel, the real name of the musician, said that musicians have an important role in the distribution of zakat.

"I often say that a Sharing Revolution must be initiated. Sharing must be forced, not just encouraged or pushed. The more people share, the happier Indonesia will be," said Bongky.

1. Anyone Can Perform Zakat

Meanwhile, during the opportunity, Vice Chairman of BAZNAS, Mokhamad Mahdum said, zakat can be performed by anyone, including musicians.

"Not just for those who wear a cap and robe or those whose worship is already good. There is nothing in the Quran that says you can give zakat if you have already prayed," said Mahdum in his speech.

2. Packaged Casually

Mahdum continued, the event that was packaged casually with musicians aims not only to entertain the public, but also to campaign for the goodness of giving zakat.

"With this light and casual event, we want to invite the community to play a role in the beauty of giving zakat, one of which is through music," said Mahdum, who was also accompanied by the leader of BAZNAS, Rizaludin Kurniawan.

In addition, through this event, BAZNAS also facilitates the community to donate together to help the rise of mustahik and provide entertainment to the community digitally.

3. Broadcast Live on Youtube

'Kongkow Bareng Musisi Berbagi' was also broadcast live on YouTube BAZNAS TV. A number of top musicians who filled the event, including Bongky (former Slank), Yuke Sampurna (Basis Dewa 19), Irang (BIP vocalist), Pay Burman (former Slank), Cozy (Republik), Najwa Maulida (Sulis Millenial), Congrats and Shabil (Slag vocalists).

"We thank you for your participation, hopefully the music industry will continue to advance, then the rights of musicians and composers will become more fair, not oppressed. Every song sung by a singer, the composer gets a share," concluded Mahdum.
