Bring Me The Horizon Concert in Jakarta Stops in the Middle of the Road, Audience Riot and Emotions Rise to the Stage

Kapanlagi.com - Bring Me The Horizon's first arrival in Jakarta left a bad impression. How could it not, Oliver Sykes and his crew's performance on the first day, Friday (10/11) at Beach City International Stadium (BCIS), Ancol, North Jakarta was interrupted in the middle of the set.

The show started off great and smooth. They played a total of 11 songs. Then, when BMTH performed the song Parasite Eve, suddenly the stage lights and all instruments went off.

At first, the audience thought it was a gimmick from the band, so they continued singing along. Shortly after, Oli CS restarted the song Parasite Eve from the beginning, and this time without any problems.

After that, BMTH performed several more songs. However, after the song Die4u ended, the BMTH members seemed to go back to the backstage. The audience started to feel that something was off.

1. Once Called on a Break

Around 22:16 WIB, the organizer of Ravel Entertainment finally went up on stage and asked the audience to take a short break.

"Friends, let's take a break for a moment, so that BMTH and you can rest first, we will settle everything later," said Ravel on stage.

Until this point, the audience seemed to start getting emotional but still able to control it. They were willing to patiently wait as Ravel promised.

 

 

2. There's a Problem on Stage

After about 30 minutes, the audience started to feel restless and wondered why the break taken by BMTH was too long. Finally, at 22:57 WIB, Ravel went back up on stage and delivered news that disappointed the entire audience.

"We have a problem on stage, so we have to stop the show tonight. I apologize sincerely. Please leave calmly, safely. Just chill, be calm," said Ravel, greeted by disappointed shouts from the audience.

 

 

3. Crowd Overwhelms the Stage

Shortly after the announcement, some audience members who couldn't contain their emotions were seen rushing onto the stage. There were even some who started hitting the BMTH drum kit.

Meanwhile, some other audience members were seen unwilling to leave the stage just like that. They chose to sing along together even without BMTH. One of the songs they sang was Drown, which is one of Oliver Sykes CS's most popular hits.

Meanwhile, on the X platform, the #bmthjakarta tag immediately became a trending topic. What's in it? Of course, the anger and disappointment of the audience who had already attended the event organized by Ravel.

 

 

4. What is the Fate of Day 2?

Bring Me The Horizon was scheduled to perform for 2 days in Jakarta. The second performance was supposed to be tonight, Saturday (11/11) at the same venue. And on this second day, there will be an additional guest star who is also very popular, namely Saosin.

The question is, will BMTH still continue their concert after the incident on day 1? As of the time this news is released, there has been no statement from BMTH or the organizers. We'll just have to wait and see.
