Kapanlagi.com - The world of children's music has hope again through a new figure named Abid Aqilla Kusuma Wardhana. This young singer from Batu, East Java, has been directly partnered with Sonny Bule, a manager and songwriter known in the dangdut music scene.

Sonny is concerned about the lack of child singers who truly represent their age. That is why he decided to take direct action by creating songs and guiding Abid as a new child singer.

"I am indeed known as a dangdut artist manager. If this, I have a desire for children because I am concerned, because the world of children's music is in a coma, because after the era of Joshua it has disappeared. I have checked, there is no replacement yet," said Sonny Bule at ITS Music Bekasi, Friday (30/5/2025).

Through the song titled "Our Earth", Sonny wants to reintroduce children's songs that are not only pleasant to listen to but also carry a positive message. He created this song with an educational purpose, specifically for children.

"I try to showcase our talent representing Indonesian children so that there is a platform for them. Because I see children singing adult songs, love songs, and that is not educational," he said.

1. Embrace the Offer with Enthusiasm

The meeting with Abid occurred when Sonny attended an event in Malang. He immediately saw the great potential that Abid had and was interested in promoting him.

"The first time I saw him at an event, there was a visit to Malang. At that time, there was an event where Abid was singing. So I saw, wow, he is brave, has skill, and is not shy at all. Because my spirit is that of an artist manager, I tried to offer to his parents, let’s work on a single so that the children's world is represented," he explained.

Abid welcomed the offer with enthusiasm. The song Bumi Kita became his official debut as a singer, as well as his first experience in a recording studio.

"I’m happy. The title is Bumi Kita. Preserving our earth so that it has examples like forests, trees, water, and air," said Abid. "I’m happy, four times recording. I’m not nervous at all."

Murni, Abid's mother, acknowledged that her child has indeed shown a great interest in music since childhood. She and the family fully support Abid's creative process with Sonny.

2. Loves Singing Since Childhood

Then, he explained that Abid is an active child who always wants to try new things. It is this enthusiasm that makes the family confident that their child can grow.

"He is currently seven years old. He has loved singing since he was little. Coincidentally, lately he really wants to learn. So, we really want this child to develop. He is hyperactive and active in everything," he said.

As a songwriter, Sonny wants to present works that are not only entertaining but also educational. He emphasizes the importance of positive content for children through the lyrics and themes of the songs.

"We provide education to children, the earth has many cities with oceans, land, air, we must maintain the preservation so that our earth remains beautiful," Sonny explained.

The production process of the song "Our Earth" went smoothly from start to finish. Sonny is now preparing to work on the music video as part of the official launch of the work.

"Alhamdulillah, the production phase went smoothly. Insya Allah we will soon move on to the music video. After the music video, we will launch it, with a deadline in mid-June," he concluded.
