Collaborating with Two Top Rappers from Malaysia, Atta Halilintar Launches Latest Hip Hop Song Titled 'Ashiap'

Kapanlagi.com - Atta Halilintar once again brings a new color to the domestic music industry. This time he collaborates with two rappers from Malaysia, Joe Flizzow and MK K-Clique, to launch a single titled Ashiap. The song is under the auspices of AHHA Records.

In a written statement on Friday (9/8), Atta shared how his collaboration with top rappers, not only from the neighboring country but also Southeast Asia, came about. The father of two mentioned that it started from a casual chat on Instagram that turned serious.

"Alhamdulillah, these two Malaysian rappers are very humble. They DM'd me, and then I thought about collaborating on this historic single for me," said the husband of Aurel Hermansyah.

"I have a lot of respect, especially since Bung Joe Flizzow has a big name in Southeast Asia, as does Mas MK, I'm just happy about it," he continued.

1. Involve Hundreds of People

Not only that, for the music video of this song, Atta directly involved hundreds of people. But of course, combining hundreds of heads to work on the music video for the song Ashiap is not an easy task.

"Matching schedules is difficult, sometimes we can, they can't, and vice versa. In the end, we managed to make it happen. I also have a passion for directing music videos like those American hip-hop ones," he said.

2. Doesn't Take Long

Even so, the production of this music video can be said to be quick and doesn't take long. "The process was fast, I sent the beat, they liked it, and within a week the demo was sent," he explained.

Additionally, Atta hopes that Ashiap can become a symbol of friendship between Indonesia and Malaysia. "I hope this fosters a good relationship between the two countries, creating a cool collaborative work that everyone can enjoy," he concluded.
