Christie revealed her collaboration with David NOAH in this song, "David and I have collaborated several times, starting from the opportunity to perform a duet with Noah singing the song Andaikan Kau Datang on a TV show, then collaborating to make a cover of David's song, Separuh Aku. I think he understands and suits my musical style very well. There is an interesting story when I collaborated with NOAH. It turns out that there are quite a lot of NOAH fans who started requesting David to create a special song for me. I am glad that the collaboration finally happened in the song Walau Ku Jauh."

"I told David that I wanted a song that could encourage people who are separated by distance and time from their loved ones. We then started a workshop at Musica Studios to create the lyrics and the song. This project took quite some time because there were several changes in the arrangement. David is a perfectionist musician, and he is not hesitant to remake the music and arrangement until it feels right with my vocal character and soul," explained Christie.

David Albert is a member of the famous band NOAH, since 2008. David's presence in the Noah group brings a new color with various arrangements produced by David. David also creates original songs that become Noah's main hits, such as Separuh Aku, Tak Lagi Sama, Kupeluk Hatimu, and Menemaniku.
