When he first heard the melody of the song Lebih Dari Cinta, Gaza admitted that he was immediately captivated. Especially when he sang it in the recording studio, he even shed tears because he was so carried away by the atmosphere.

"When Kak Pika played this song for me, the melody immediately entered my ears. The lyrics are also relatable because the story is general, almost everyone has been in a relationship like that. A day before recording, I experienced an incident, and during the recording, it hit me hard. I was about to cry in the studio, tears came out a little but I wiped them away because I was embarrassed," Gaza said in a virtual press conference on Friday (3/9).

Gaza Ali, who is currently in high school, admits that he can't believe he will have a single. Until now, he still feels like he's in a dream.

"So I met Ocha at the Indonesian Idol event. When I first met her, I was very nervous because I had just started singing. But during the audition, I saw her smiling widely. After Idol, she contacted me, we talked, and finally I joined her label," Gaza said.

During the audition, 16-year-old Gaza Ali sang Lewis Capaldi's song "Before You Go". At that time, he immediately received a titanium ticket from Maia Estianty.

Unfortunately, Anang Hermansyah initially disagreed with Maia's decision, so Gaza was asked to sing again. In their second performance of the song "Expectation", he was immediately passed to the next round. Unfortunately, Gaza's performance failed to take him to the spectacular round.
