Difficult to Make Decisions, Jakarta's Pop-Punk Band Summerlane Presents the Song 'Let It Go'

Kapanlagi.com - Jakarta's pop-punk music group, Summerlane, has released their latest song titled Let It Go. This is their first work after officially joining Warner Music Indonesia.

Summerlane's vocalist, Rizki Prayosi or better known as Ochin, explained that the song Let It Go tells about someone's desire to end a relationship.

"The relationship is no longer possible to continue because it involves so many things like suspicion and lies. So the best solution is to let each other go," said Ochin, Summerlane's vocalist in his written press release on Friday (24/6/2022).

Then, Summerlane's guitarist, Johan or known as Joe, added that the song Let It Go feels suitable for people who are always confused in making decisions and easily hesitant when facing problems.

"Everyone has problems and must be brave in making decisions. This song is for all of them. Our hope is also for Summerlane's listeners to be wider nationally & internationally," said Joe.

1. Only Three Days

Let It Go was created by Summerlane and produced by Wisnu Ikhsantama Wicaksana from Lomba Sihir. Summerlane's drummer, Bounty Ramdhan, said that the song Let It Go was recorded in only three days.

"Only three days of recording. The making process was also quite unique because it was during PPKM. So at that time, we started by exchanging files from each other's homes. Until finally, there was time to jam in and move on to the next stage, but then we got COVID. Hahaha. So we continued when everyone was healthy again," said Bounty.

2. Since 2015

Summerlane is a pop-punk band from Jakarta that was formed in 2015. Consisting of six members, namely Rizki Prayosi aka Ochin (vocals), Johan aka Joe (guitar), Vicky Rivaldi (guitar), Bounty Ramdhan (drums), and Alexander Bryan aka Alex (bass).

Since its formation, Summerlane has released 1 EP This World Will Carry On Without You and several singles such as Move Along, Frenemy, and Sweet Escape.

3. Showcase Release Party

The latest news is that Summerlane will hold a Showcase Release Party for their latest single on June 29, 2022. Three musicians will be featured, namely Chua, the bassist of the band Kotak, Acin from The Panturas, and Jun Fang Gung Foo.

This event is open to the public and those who want to attend can buy tickets at the number listed on the Hardrock Cafe Jakarta Instagram account or directly buy tickets on the spot.
