Discussing the Phenomenon of 80s Music with Candra Darusman in the First Episode of 'Behind A Music'

Kapanlagi.com - The first episode of the program Behind A Music presented by Nada Promotama has aired on Friday (17/9). In this first episode, the program that airs on the RCTI+ application carries the theme 'Creative Pop'.

In recent years, old hit songs have resurfaced and gone viral again thanks to the help of social media platforms, such as TikTok. Based on that fact, many content creators have finally chosen to use old music, both original and remix versions, as the background music for their content.

Now in its first episode, Behind A Music highlights creative pop songs from the 80s that have been rearranged by Nikita Dompas. One senior musician, Candra Darusman, was also invited as one of the guest stars. He also shared a lot about the music industry in his era, namely the 80s. It's an interesting knowledge, especially for millennials who were not born at that time.

Several hit songs composed by Candra Darusman were also performed by a number of top musicians on that occasion, such as Kunyatakan Cinta performed by Kamga and Kau performed by Cantika Abigail.

Audiences of Indonesian music will also be able to witness the performance of Gugun collaborating with Kamga singing the song Sungguh (composed by Fariz RM), Teza Sumendra singing Tanda-tandanya (composed by Odie Agam) and Barcelona (composed by Fariz RM). This program, consisting of 4 episodes, presents the journey and secrets of music, as well as bringing layers within the film and elements that drive Culture Regeneration and Culture Movement.

So far, 2 episodes have been aired, with the latest one carrying the theme 'The Movie' (episode 2) aired on Sunday (19/12) at 19.00 WIB. Meanwhile, the remaining 2 episodes will be aired on December 25 and also December 26.
