Kapanlagi.com - Band Orion re-releases single 'Maafkan Aku', which was previously booming when performed by Enda Ungu and Indah Yastami. Wrapped in a fresher arrangement, band Orion, as the song owner, wants to restore the identity of the song by creating a remastered version.
Orion, currently consisting of Tias (vocals) and Brian (guitar), said that the song 'Maafkan Aku' had lost its direction regarding ownership. By re-releasing the single 'Maafkan Aku', they want music enthusiasts to know the figures behind the creation of the song.
"Let the song return to its habitat, to its rightful owner. So far, many have claimed it. Some say it's Enda Ungu's song, and there are also covers," said Tias, in Kebon Sirih area, Central Jakarta, on Monday (23/10/2023).
"Yes, Orion made this remastered version for that reason. This is our song, Orion is the one who created it," Brian added.

Tias said that the single 'Maafkan Aku' this time version has undergone about 70 percent changes, especially in terms of arrangement. Through this single, Tias and Brian want to show their existence as a band from Madura, which can compete on the national stage.
"The band comes from Madura, yes this is Orion. I mean, the one that is recognized nationally. Please pray that we can compete in creating art," said Tias.
Like two sides of a coin that are interconnected, according to Brian, the popular song 'Maafkan Aku' when sung by others has both positive and negative sides. The positive side is that many people notice their work.
"If we are disadvantaged, then it's certain that it exists, economically. But on the other hand, we also have extraordinary advantages. Because of the help from other musicians, and then being covered, many people notice," said Brian.
Tias and Brian have great hopes that the presence of the remastered version of the song 'Maafkan Aku' can be well received by music lovers in the country. In fact, they also hope to collaborate with Enda Ungu and Indah Yestami, who made this song explode in the market.
"Well, this can be accepted. And we hope to collaborate with Bang Enda and Indah. The three of us on one stage, really want it," said Tias.
