Ghatfaan is Asked to Sing at School after Winning Talent Search Competition - The Beginning of His Love for Singing

Kapanlagi.com - Ghatfaan admits that there are many differences after becoming a champion in the KFC Mencari Bucket talent search competition. One of them is that more people know him, both at school where he studies and outside.

"The difference is maybe when I entered school, I became more well-known. And I became closer to my friends," he said when met at the Kuy Media Group office, in the Jeruk Purut area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (19/10/2023).

Interestingly, when he returned to school after winning the talent search competition, the 15-year-old boy was asked to sing by his teachers and friends.

"Continuously being teased by teachers, like 'sing, sing,'" he said.

Indeed, Ghatfaan has started to enjoy the world of singing since the age of 10. Initially, he was only interested in playing the guitar until his mother saw his potential in singing.

"Actually, at first I preferred playing the guitar. Actually, I was more focused on playing the guitar. At the age of 10, after that my mom said that playing the guitar while singing is cool, so she immediately enrolled me in vocal lessons, and that's when I started to take it more seriously," Ghatfaan explained.

2. Full Family Support

"My mom would always say, 'Your voice is good, but there are still many others out there who are better than you,' I think it's just motivation for me to keep learning," Ghatfaan added.

When he wanted to participate in a talent search event, of course, his family, who are currently in Semarang, fully supported his initial steps to hone his abilities. It was the prayers from his family that eventually paved the way for him to win the talent search event.

"Alhamdulillah, my family supports me a lot, it's like the support from my mom and dad that has made me who I am now," he concluded.
