Kapanlagi.com - The vocalist of the band D'Masiv, Rian Ekky Pradipta finally spoke out about the cancellation of his performance with Giring Ganesha in a concert titled D'MASIV 20AD TO THE WORLD in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Saturday (3/6). It turns out that not only with Giring, but also Ia Pusakata had to face the same fate.
When met in the Kemayoran area, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (7/6), Rian explained the reason for the cancellation. He said, the cancellation of Giring Ganesha and Is Pusakata's performance was due to clashes with PUSPAL permits from the Malaysian government.
Yesterday, we only talked about Giring. Actually, we had a two-day concert and alhamdulillah both were sold out. On the first day, we performed with Pusakata, Is, and on the second day with Giring, so both were cancelled,” said Rian.
“Why? Because there were incomplete data. So if we perform abroad, we need to have complete data, especially ticketing, there's still work left. If we're just tourists, we can't perform,” he continued.
Not only that, Rian also mentioned that Giring and Is Pusakata's data was collected at the last minute. Although they didn't perform, Giring could only watch Rian and his team perform the song 'Hapus Aku'.
“The idea as a special guest was only recently proposed. It turns out that they didn't consider the two of them complete. So because this is the country's regulation, we have to comply,” he concluded.
