Hindia is Confirmed to Perform at Forestra 2026, Collaborating with Erwin Gutawa Orchestra

The name Hindia, led by Baskara Putra, is once again capturing attention after being confirmed to perform at the Tring!by Pegadaian Forestra 2026 event. The musician, who is also the vocalist of .Feast, will collaborate with the Erwin Gutawa Orchestra in an orchestral format held in the midst of a pine forest.

The news of Hindia's participation was revealed during the press conference for Tring!by Pegadaian Forestra 2026, held at Habitat Park SCBD, Jakarta. The event was also attended by ABM CEO Barry Akbar, Creative Director Jay Subyakto, Music Director Erwin Gutawa, and several musicians who will enliven the Forestra stage this year.

The performance titled Tring!by Pegadaian Forestra 2026 is scheduled to take place on August 29, 2026, at Orchid Forest Cikole, Lembang-Bandung. In addition to Hindia, several big names are also set to perform in collaboration with the Erwin Gutawa Orchestra, including Mahalini, /rif, .Feast, Senyawa, Iwa K, and Naykilla.

The process of uniting the characters of musicians across genres into an orchestral format is no easy task. Erwin Gutawa as the Music Director of Forestra emphasizes that each arrangement is specially designed so that the song can present a new face without losing its identity.

On the other hand, ABM CEO Barry Akbar stresses that the presence of musicians like Hindia has been part of Forestra's grand vision since it was first conceived, which is to bring together nature, music, and humanity in one authentic experience.

"From the beginning, Forestra has had a vision to unite Nature, Music, and Humanity in an experience that cannot be found anywhere else. We want Forestra to be known not just as an annual music event, but also as a nature and music-based tourist destination or destination concert that makes people want to return to Bandung every year," said Barry Akbar.

Tickets for Simfoni 4 to watch Hindia's performance with the Erwin Gutawa Orchestra at Forestra 2026 are now priced at Rp699,000 down from the previous price of Rp799,000, and can be ordered through the official forestra website.

"For me, orchestral arrangements are not meant to change a song, but to provide space for the song to speak in a different way," said Erwin Gutawa during a press conference in the SCBD area, South Jakarta, Friday (31/7)

Baskara Putra expressed enthusiasm about being part of the music event that combines nature and orchestra. According to him, the format presented by Forestra is different from typical concerts as it provides a broader space for musicians to collaborate.

"What’s interesting is that Forestra presents a different format. This is not just a music show, but rather a performance that gives space for musicians to collaborate and present their works in a more complete context. Opportunities like this do not come every day, so for us, it feels like there is a deeper purpose and meaning," said Baskara Putra.

The vocalist of .Feast also expressed his gratitude for being able to share the stage with Jay Subyakto, Erwin Gutawa, and other musicians he has admired for a long time. He hopes the audience can feel the same special experience when watching the performance live.
