A proud achievement has just been marked by Hindia on the international music stage. The singer, whose real name is Baskara Putra, received a trophy at the Music Awards Japan 2026 held in Tokyo on Saturday, (13/6).
At this event, Baskara received a trophy for a special award category. Through his post on Instagram @wordfangs, Baskara also shared a moment when he met several famous Japanese musicians, such as Atsushi Yanaka, a member of Tokyo Ska Paradise.
Hindia received an award at the Music Awards Japan 2026. He also performed at the international event with his band and sang the song Everything You Are at the Toyota Arena Tokyo.
This proud award was shared by Baskara through his Instagram account, @wordfangs. Proudly, Baskara showed the seat where he sat at the MAJ that was named.
Hindia won the award trophy in the Indonesian Popular Music category for the song Everything You Are. The band also performed that song live on the Music Awards Japan stage.

The trophy from the Music Awards Japan is the first international award received by Hindia. In Indonesia, Hindia has won many trophies from local music award events.
At the Music Awards Japan event, Hindia was also happy to meet many famous musicians, but he admitted to being starstruck and did not greet everyone. However, Hindia managed to take a photo with Atsushi Yanaka from Tokyo Ska Paradise and also took a picture with Grimes.
On the red carpet of MAJ, Baskara revealed that he chose the white shirt he wore when he nearly died after performing in Bogor on May 10. This shirt witnessed that he almost died because of music, but also came back to life because of music.
