His Children Formed a Punk Rock Band 'Addade', Andre Taulany Had No Idea

Kapanlagi.com - Two children of comedian Andre Taulany, Ardio Raihansyah Taulany and Arkenzy Salmansyah Taulany, formed a band named Addade which carries the punk rock genre. Actually, Andre Taulany himself did not know that his two children formed a band.

"Yes, they formed a band called Addade, I didn't even know, suddenly there were reports, 'Dad, I have a band', 'When did you form it?' 'Adadeh' that's why it's called Addade," said Andre Taulany on Trans TV, South Jakarta, Tuesday (29/12/2020).

Andre was impressed with the type of music played by the band Addade, which is pop punk. Because their music was considered cool, Andre helped Addade to get on television.

"So, their name is Addade. I tested how they played and it turned out to be cool, so I said on TV, 'my kid wants to play with them' and finally they were given the opportunity. When they played, the TV ratings went up and they were often called."

Addade consists of five members, namely Athalla (guitar), Dava (guitar), Abi (bass), Dio (drums), and Kenzi (vocals). As a parent, Andre Taulany feels happy that his child can play music like him when starting a career in the entertainment industry.

"Yes, I support it, I'm happy because this is positive, especially since they have talent. I remember seeing Dio playing in a band and I was moved. But they are cooler now, when I was still on TV it was difficult, competition was tough, but now they have YouTube which has a wider reach," said Andre.

Andre said that Addade will release their debut single in 2021. Currently, Andre has prepared a new song for his children's band. "We have prepared the single. I wrote a song for them. Later, insha'Allah, in 2021," concluded Andre.
