Kapanlagi.com - Young rapper from Magelang, Central Java, Edsel Prince, who impressed the judges on Indonesia's Got Talent 2022, has released a new song called Goro Goro Game (GGG). What's interesting is that the lyrics of GGG are in Javanese and Indonesian language.

With the music genre of Hiphop Java Rap-Pop, Edsel Prince's GGG tells the story of a child who excels in the world of games, but in real life, things are not always easy.

"It's about a child who is smart in the world of games, but in real life, it's not easy," said Edsel at a press conference in the Blok M area, South Jakarta, on Monday (19/6/2023).

"There are parents who do not support their children pursuing the world of games. But there are also parents who support their children pursuing the world of games," added Edsel.

Edsel Prince, who is now only 10 years old, said that his desire to become a rapper started from YouTube. From there, he began to idolize rapper Saykoji and singer Song Min-ho or Mino from South Korea.

"Like famous singers (who can go international), in Korea there's Mino, in Indonesia there's Saykoji, Agnez Mo, and also Rich Brian," said Edsel Prince.

As a parent and executive producer of Edsel Prince, Sony Andi Gunawan feels proud that his son has brought a new work. Therefore, Sony hopes that GGG can inspire children of the same age to pursue their dreams.

"Yes, hopefully it can inspire many people, especially children of the same age, and Edsel can go international," said Sony Andi Gunawan.

2. Has Ability

Meanwhile, Andrew Darmoko from Valf Record and music producer revealed the reason for recruiting Edsel Prince through the GGC song. According to him, Edsel has the ability to sing, especially rap.

"I see that he has the ability to sing, especially rap. Rap used to be a loud voice, but not this time. Half of the lyrics in this song also include Javanese lyrics," he said.

Edsel Prince is a rap singer from Magelang, Central Java. He became a hot topic among netizens when he appeared on Indonesia's Got Talent 2022 talent search.

Edsel Prince managed to impress the judges, Reza Arap, Ivan Gunawan, Armand Maulana, and Denny Sumargo. During the audition, Edsel received four 'Yes' from the judges consisting of Reza Arap, Ivan Gunawan, Armand Maulana, and Denny Sumargo.
