Kapanlagi.com - The program 'Music Buat Elo!' is the latest program produced by RCTI+ on August 24th. This program is hosted by a viral celebrity whose name has often appeared on social media, Asyraf Jamal or better known as ATAP. 'Music Buat Elo!' will present talented musicians from the homeland who are ready to accompany you anytime and anywhere.
In the 3rd episode of 'Music Buat Elo!', 3 musicians namely Ghea Indrawari, Sisca JKT48, and James Adam will be invited with the theme of Millennial Keroncong. The event will begin with these three musicians singing a medley of 'Levitating', a song popularized by Dua Lipa, and 'Dynamite' by BTS.
James Adam himself is a music producer with a keroncong style who recently went viral after uploading a cover that rearranged Rizky Febian's song titled 'Cuek'. Along with his friends, James reveals the reason why he chose the keroncong music genre even though there are many other more millennial genres.
"Initially, we were just trying it out. Then after some investigation, there are indeed few people who cover keroncong songs. Which means, there isn't much competition for us. That's why we try this keroncong style with a pop touch in it," explained James.

Not only that, Atap (Asyraf Jamal) also asked Ghea and Sisca JKT48 about this regarding the keroncong music genre. Ghea thought that keroncong is synonymous with Indonesia, which can be a learning and introduction to the culture of the homeland.
"It's definitely Indonesian, and I'm really happy to know that there are young people who bring keroncong. So young people nowadays can learn that keroncong is part of Indonesian culture," said Ghea.
Not much different from Ghea, Sisca JKT48 has her own view on keroncong. Sisca, who doesn't refuse to sing her songs in a keroncong version, proves that young people do not reject typical Indonesian music.
"When I hear it, it's magical. Previously, Sisca was also invited to collaborate with James Adam to sing Fortune Cookie, a J-Pop song performed in keroncong style, showing that young people do not reject music from Indonesia as long as there is someone who promotes it, like James Adam," said Sisca JKT48.
