Java Jazz Festival 2026 Brings Jon Batiste to Ziva Magnolia, Officially Moves to NICE PIK 2

However, there will be something different about this year's event. Entering its more than two-decade age, this prestigious music festival has decided to move its location from its regular venue at JIExpo Kemayoran to a newer area.

For the 2026 edition, the Java Jazz Festival will be held from May 29 to 31, 2026, at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE) PIK 2, Tangerang, Banten. This decision was made as a significant step for the organizers to continue to grow and provide a fresh atmosphere for the loyal audience who have supported this event for years.

The President Director of Java Festival Production, Dewi Gontha, explained the reasons behind the location change. According to her, the move to the PIK 2 area is part of a strategy to explore a larger space for the comfort of the music enthusiasts present.

"As you all know, we are moving to NICE this year. A very big move that we really need to make in order to do something better and explore a larger space," said Dewi Gontha at a press conference in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (11/3).

1. The Right Momentum in the 21st Year

Currently, the organizers are still finalizing preparations at the new location. Considering this is the first time Java Jazz is held in NICE, the committee is very focused on socializing to ensure that potential visitors are not confused when they arrive at the event location later.

"Exploring the new venue together with its audience. We are also still exploring our new venue. And today, the goal is to help us socialize this move," said Dewi Gontha.

Furthermore, Dewi expressed that the momentum of this move is very fitting with the festival reaching its 21st year. The innovation of the venue is deemed necessary so that the Java Jazz Festival remains fresh and continues to surprise its fans with each new edition.

"And also because Java Jazz is already in its 21st year," she said.

2. Will Feature Jon Baptiste, Ziva Magnolia, and RAN

Although moving locations, the Java Jazz Festival will still maintain its quality by presenting 10 stages and more than 100 performers. Several big international names have been announced, including Jon Batiste, Wave to Earth, and the legendary band Earth, Wind & Fire by Al McKay and Incognito.

Local musicians are equally exciting, featuring Slank, Bilal Indrajaya, RAN, and Ziva Magnolya who are included in the first phase of performers. For those who want to attend, tickets are already on sale with prices varying from Rp 382,500 to Rp 1.4 million, which can be purchased through the official website.
