New Formation, Kalamaya Band Releases Single KSHB

Kapanlagi.com - Despite changing band members, it didn't break the spirit of Semarang-based music group, Kalamaya Band, to express their love for music.

Now with a new lineup, Kalamaya is back to enliven the music industry in the homeland by releasing their latest work titled Ketika Semua Harus Berakhir (KSHB).

KSHB is a creation by Sugest Priandana, the bassist of Kalamaya.

"This is our first single with the new lineup. We used to be six members. Now we are four," said Sugest.

1. Could Be a Choice for Music Enthusiasts

Packaged beautifully with a pop rock genre, KSHB is hoped to be one of the song choices for music enthusiasts.

"We believe in the strength of the song that we package as easy listening so that it can be easily followed by the listeners. Hopefully, the song can be accepted. People can love our songs," said Sugest, supported by his colleagues.

2. Story About Breakup

Sugest further said, KSHB lyrics tell the story of someone who can be strong in facing a breakup.

"This song is not a sad song, actually a breakup doesn't have to be sad and the tip to move on is to fall in love again," he said.

"Because not all separations have to end in sadness," added Rendy, the vocalist.

3. Formed in September 2020

Kalamaya Band was formed in September 2020 with the initial lineup
Dilar (Vocal), Sugest (bass), Klodi (Guitar), Adit (Guitar), and Sam (Keyboard).

Now Kalamaya band is led by Rendy as the vocalist, Sugest as the bassist, Adit as the guitarist, and Sam remains on the keyboard. They still use an additional player for the drums.
