After performing at the 3rd Anniversary GoHitz event at New Playground, Lippo Kemang, Jakarta, on Thursday (1/12), Pinkan revealed details about her new song.
"(This song) is 180 degrees different, before the songs were just like that. In this new single, it's 20 - 30 times more difficult than the previous ones, the techniques are really hard but still commercial," she said.
She wants to showcase what is called progress in a singer's career.
"I want to show that a singer must be better, not just Doremifasolasido," said Pinkan.
Pinkan stated that she could actually do that before, but there were other reasons why she did not showcase her singing abilities.
"Actually, I could have done it a long time ago, but I learned and I want to be humble. I don't want to stay in a box," explained the 36-year-old woman.
The theme of love will be raised by Pinkan in her upcoming song. However, she does not want any elements of melancholy in it.
"It might be about love, but love that inspires people, not the kind that is all gloomy like someone wanting to commit suicide, you know."
