Asnawi Mangkualam and Yuriska Patricia Release Prewedding Traditional Makassar, Shot by Rio Motret

In the second session, Asnawi appeared wearing a white top paired with a golden-patterned songket shawl, wrapped diagonally around his body. The simple silhouette allowed the texture of the songket to stand out. Meanwhile, Yuriska chose a strapless outfit in dark brown adorned with traditional motifs. She paired it with a songket fabric that matched Asnawi's, her wavy hair down and decorated with flowers on her head. In one portrait, they sat side by side on an ethnic-themed carved wooden chair with a reddish-orange background. In another portrait, they stood, with Yuriska waving the songket fabric, making it appear to flutter gracefully at her side.

In another session labeled "Today's Shoot", both wore traditional Makassar attire in golden orange with a more formal look. The distinctive gold crown of Bugis-Makassar brides completed the overall style. The colorful checkered patterned bottom was also paired, emphasizing the traditional impression that contrasts with the golden tones of the top. This color combination provided a dynamic visual layer. In one portrait, Asnawi and Yuriska posed facing each other while holding hands. A long fabric in orange and magenta was waved between them, creating a dramatic effect. In another portrait, a tender moment was captured as Yuriska kissed Asnawi's cheek, while Asnawi smiled at the camera.

This pre-wedding project was photographed by photographer Rio Motret, who handled the overall visual concept of the session.
